Cuando el presidente Luis Abinader, durante las exequias, pidi贸 a los dominicanos que imitaran el ejemplo del artista, a quien defini贸 como un “caballero de coraz贸n enorme”, estaba dando la m谩s apropiada personificaci贸n de esta gran figura nacional.
Porque, en verdad, la larga trayectoria de vida de Johnny Ventura est谩 tachonada de esfuerzos, confianza en s铆 mismo, respeto a los dem谩s y la convicci贸n de que se puede llegar a la cima colocando “ladrillo tras ladrillo” sin rendirse ante las adversidades.
En su caso, siendo un ni帽o de color, nacido en familia pobre con m铆nimos recursos, tal circunstancia no fue traba para aspirar a una buena formaci贸n educativa y a subir los m谩s altos pelda帽os en sus aspiraciones art铆sticas o pol铆ticas.
Por eso fue un hijo y padre ejemplar, arquitecto de una familia unida y solidaria que sabr谩 cuidar su legado.
Su filosof铆a era pura y simple: “Aprend铆 a no avergonzarme por nada; ser bueno en todo para alcanzar las metas y asumir que la buena o la mala suerte est谩n predeterminadas por las decisiones que uno tome en la vida”.
En concreto, la suma de las virtudes humanas, ejercidas arm贸nicamente frente a los dem谩s, valieron mucho para que Dios allanara los caminos que permitieron a Johnny Ventura alcanzar la gloria plena de la inmortalidad en el coraz贸n de un pa铆s que lo despidi贸 entre alegr铆as y llantos.

Specifically, the sum of human virtues, exercised harmoniously in front of others, was very valuable for God to pave the way that allowed Jhonny Ventura to achieve the full glory of immortality in the heart of a country that dismissed him with happiness and tears .
